The PIDapalooza Community

The idea behind PIDapalooza is that our organizations (CDL, Crossref, DataCite, NISO & ORCID) have a shared love of persistent identifiers and the metadata that connects them. That's what connects us!

We also love getting together to learn and have a few laughs. So what better than an annual festival!

An excuse to get together with other like-minded PID-fans across the world and party like only PID-lovers can. Usually taking place in January each year, we put on two days of very full programming - fast and furious talks from all corners of the PID infrastructure and research landscape, with lots of interaction and time to converse, a persistent playlist, and an eternal flame.
